UFC on Halloween: Moicano meets streaking Tom Nolan in the main event

Renato Moicano headlines in Las Vegas on Saturday for the second time in 2026. Opponent Tom Nolan has won five straight and fights over five rounds for the first time.

The UFC closes out October with a Fight Night at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas: on Saturday, 31 October, Renato Moicano meets Tom Nolan at lightweight. The UFC ranks Moicano No. 12 and Nolan No. 14. The main card starts at 8pm US Eastern time – 1am on Sunday in Germany.

Moicano was originally set to face Brian Ortega at UFC 331, but Ortega withdrew with an injury, according to the UFC. According to Cageside Press, this is Moicano's fourth career main event and his second this year: in April he submitted Chris Duncan in the second round. Over the past two years he has lost to Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush and beaten Duncan, Benoît Saint Denis and Jalin Turner.

Nolan (11-1), 26, headlines a UFC card for the first time. His only UFC loss came in his debut, and his latest win was a unanimous decision over Farès Ziam. Afterwards he named Moicano as the opponent he wanted: "I respect him so much. I think he's awesome," Nolan said, according to MMA Junkie.
