Ferrari's first electric car, the Luce, starts at $560,800 before options in the United States, Motor1 reported on Oct. 22, citing Car and Driver. That makes the four-door, five-seat car $122,190 more expensive than the Purosangue SUV, which starts at $438,610. US customers are expected to receive their cars in the second quarter of 2027; European deliveries begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, according to AutoNext.

The comparison with Europe stands out: The Luce costs 550,000 euros including VAT there, which was about $640,000 at its unveiling in Rome in May. In China, Ferrari charges 3,988,000 yuan, or about $586,600, AutoNext reported. Early estimates had put the US price at around $640,000, according to Carscoops. Cars from the EU face a 15 percent tariff in the United States; Ferrari has published no explanation for the lower US price, according to AutoNext.

The Luce has four electric motors producing a combined output of about 770 kW, accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and uses a 122-kWh battery. At 2,260 kilograms, it is the heaviest Ferrari ever, according to Motor1. Ferrari met its sales target for the model after two months with about 500 cars sold, Carscoops reported.
