Soffie released her debut album 'Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann' ('No argument that can't be resolved') on 23 October. The singer made her name with 'Für immer Frühling', a song against the far right that went viral in 2024 and was sung at demonstrations. The new album has twelve tracks and runs just under half an hour; the current single is 'Fous!'.
laut.de critic Kerstin Kratochwill heads her review 'Not a song you can't like'. She hears catchy, energetic German pop that tries to chase away the threatening with the conciliatory, combining political conviction with hopeful idealism. The songs are well crafted and thoughtfully composed, she writes; they deal with relationships, one's own body and growing up.
Sonically, the review compares the album to Olivia Rodrigo and the Austrian band Lovehead – a bittersweet blend of teen pop and synth vibes with plenty of hit potential. Jonny Mahoro guests on 'Kalkstein (es wird leichter)'. The video is the official music video for 'Fous!'.
