Faraday Future has completed the transfer of its robotics business to Nasdaq-listed FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem (FFR); the deal closed on 23 October. In return, a Faraday subsidiary received common and preferred FFR shares. The company now presents itself as a pure-play maker of humanoid and bionic robots, led by YT Jia, who is also Faraday Future's global CEO. The video shows the closing ceremony and investor day.
FFR also unveiled FF OmniMind, a "unified AI brain" made up of foundation models, motion control and skills that is meant to run on very different robot forms and for many tasks. The aim, it says, is a shift from task-specific robots towards general-purpose autonomy. No independent tests or performance data have been published.
For October the company expects more than 300 robots sold or shipped – a monthly record – and more than 1,100 cumulatively by the end of the month. For full-year 2026 it cites about 2,000 robots, including the period before the acquisition. By its own account, FFR is the largest provider of robotics for school education in the US.
