Bayer Leverkusen will be without Moussa Diaby for several weeks. The club said Monday that the 27-year-old forward sustained a fascia injury in the back of his right thigh in the 3-0 loss at Hoffenheim. Diaby will be "available again after the international break in November," the club said. He had to come off in the first half of Sunday's game.

Defender Loïc Badé is also out for now. According to the club, he sustained a head contusion and a cut in his collision with Hoffenheim's Max Moerstedt and underwent a neurological examination on Monday. Bayer gave no timeframe for his return, saying it hopes Badé "can play for the team again soon."

Coach Carles Martínez's side host Nuremberg in the second round of the German Cup on Wednesday at 20:45 local time.
