Another heavyweight fight could be added beneath Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: Frazer Clarke says he has agreed to face former WBO world champion Joseph Parker. "There's a couple of names being floated along and thrown my way. Joseph Parker's one of them, and that's something that I said yes to," the 35-year-old Briton told The Sun, according to BoxingScene.
Nothing is settled. "It's gone a bit quiet now; I've not heard much about it, so it could still be there, could not be," Clarke said. For him it would be "a massive fight", calling Parker "a huge name, great fighter, good friend of mine". The two met as amateurs in India in 2010, with Parker winning on a split decision, according to Clarke.
Clarke (10-3-1, 8 KOs) ended a two-fight losing run by stopping Lamah Griggs in August. Parker (36-4) has not fought since losing to Fabio Wardley about a year ago; according to BoxingScene, he has since been cleared to box again by UK Anti-Doping after a backdated three-month suspension.
