Lucia Szabová is moving from OKTAGON to the UFC: the 28-year-old fights for the US promotion for the first time on Saturday, 31 October, at the UFC Fight Night at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Her opponent is Brazil's Tainara Lisboa. The UFC lists the bout at women's flyweight on the prelims on its event page; earlier media reports had named bantamweight.

Szabová is unbeaten as a professional and holds OKTAGON's women's bantamweight and flyweight titles. She defended her bantamweight belt on 1 August at Prague's Štvanice with a decision win over former UFC fighter Lucie Pudilová. What happens to her OKTAGON titles has not been officially announced.

Lisboa (7-4), 35, is 2-2 in the UFC and has lost her last two fights – including one against Luana Santos, who faces Yana Santos on the main card the same night.
