Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has outlined his approach to the Christian Mbilli fight. "We're always looking for the knockout. Every single fighter is looking for a knockout," the Mexican told DAZN, according to Boxing News 24. "But if not, I'm going to play it smart."

It is Alvarez's first fight since his points defeat to Terence Crawford in September 2025, which cost him his super-middleweight titles. Mbilli (29-0-1, 24 KOs) was first interim champion and was elevated to full WBC champion after Crawford retired; against Alvarez he makes his first defence as full champion, according to FIGHTMAG. His last fight ended in a draw with Lester Martinez.

The 12-round fight takes place in Riyadh on Saturday, October 31. Boxing News 24 expects ring walks at around 6pm ET (10pm GMT), stressing that times are estimates. DAZN shows the card on pay-per-view.
