The government's goal is for Bulgaria to become Europe's best place to start and grow high-value businesses by 2030, Ivan Vasilev, minister of innovation and digital transformation, told the seventh Sofia Economic Forum, Novini.bg reported.
Bulgarian companies are increasingly using artificial intelligence, he said, and the state's task is to improve the business environment so innovative firms can develop products and compete on international markets.
Vasilev cited the INSAIT AI institute, the Bulgarian language model BgGPT and the BRAIN++ AI factory being built at Sofia Tech Park. "Talent is our strongest card," the minister said.
