RB Leipzig picked up their first Champions League win of the season on Tuesday, beating PSV Eindhoven 1-0 at home on matchday two. Brajan Gruda scored the only goal in the 75th minute for coach Martin Demichelis's side.
Goalkeepers dominated for long spells. PSV were awarded a first-half penalty after a VAR review confirmed a handball by Ridle Baku, but Leipzig keeper Maarten Vandevoordt saved Ivan Perisic's spot kick. A late goal by PSV's Armando Obispo was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
Leipzig had previously routed Eintracht Frankfurt 6-0 in the Bundesliga. Demichelis made one change, bringing in Gruda for Andrija Maksimovic. Peter Bosz's PSV have one point from two games.
