Club Brugge stunned Inter Milan 4-3 at San Siro in the Champions League on Tuesday. German striker Nicolo Tresoldi scored a 30th-minute penalty and added goals in the 63rd and 74th minutes. Romeo Vermant made it 4-2 in the 87th, while Lautaro Martinez (44th, 81st) and Ange-Yoan Bonny in stoppage time scored for Inter.
At 22 years and 54 days, Tresoldi is the youngest German to score a Champions League hat-trick, replacing Karim Adeyemi, according to beIN Sports. He is also the first Brugge player to score a hat-trick in the competition, and Brugge became the first Belgian club to beat Inter in it.
The defeat leaves coach Cristian Chivu's Inter without a point after two games, and beIN Sports said they have lost four straight Champions League matches for the first time. Brugge had lost their opener 3-2 to Aston Villa.
