Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new trailer for 'Hexed' (German title: 'Wie verhext'). It centers on teenager Billie, who discovers she has magical powers. When her emotions spiral out of control, she is pulled from suburbia into Hexe, a realm of witches. There she teams up with her overly cautious mother, Alice, and uncovers family secrets.
Hailee Steinfeld (Billie) and Rashida Jones (Alice) voice the leads. The new trailer also introduces Jodie Foster as Queen Celeste, who according to Moviebreak wants to hold on to her power at any cost, and Walton Goggins as the cat Beef Roger Crummchuk. Fawn Veerasunthorn ('Wish') and Jason Hand direct, with Josie Trinidad as co-director.
Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller wrote the screenplay. The film opens in US theaters on Nov. 25 and, according to kino.de, in Germany a day later.
