Lamborghini currently has no plans for a fully electric car, CEO Stephan Winkelmann said at the first Lamborghini Day Korea at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, South Korea's The Financial News reported on Oct. 13. In March 2025, Winkelmann had announced an electric model for the second half of 2029. He said customer acceptance of electric vehicles had not matured as expected but had declined. The brand's fourth model will therefore also be a plug-in hybrid. Lamborghini is still building electrification expertise in-house, he said.

Winkelmann said synthetic fuels could be a "game changer" for combustion engines and that Lamborghini is in contact with the oil industry in Italy and the Middle East. Obstacles include production volumes, cost per liter and missing regulations. Lamborghini delivered 5,422 cars in the first half of 2026, down 4.6% from a year earlier. According to the Volkswagen Group, third-quarter deliveries rose 4.1% to about 2,600 vehicles.

According to The Korea Herald, the Urus SE Performante and the Revuelto SV, limited to 1,963 units, made their Asia-Pacific debut in Seoul. The paper put the Revuelto SV's output at 1,065 hp and its top speed at 345 km/h. South Korea is the brand's sixth-largest market, with about 500 deliveries expected there in 2026.
