Paris Hilton revealed her Halloween costume on Instagram on 23 October: she recreates Britney Spears' performance at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, where Spears sang “I'm a Slave 4 U” with a snake draped over her shoulders. Hilton wears a green rhinestone top, butterfly-print micro shorts, embellished boots and body jewels. According to HOLA! USA, she held a live yellow python named Tango; its handler estimated its weight at 30 to 40 pounds, according to TODAY as cited by HOLA!.

It is not Hilton's first Britney costume. Last year, Parade reports, she wore the red bodysuit from the “Oops!… I Did It Again” video, and before that the schoolgirl look from “…Baby One More Time”. A behind-the-scenes video followed on 24 October. Other early costumes: singer Chlöe Bailey dressed as Meg Griffin from “Family Guy”, while comedians Benito Skinner and Owen Thiele went as PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson.

Janelle Monáe has already attended a sold-out Cinespia screening of “Carrie” (1976) in a fake-blood costume. According to Hoodline, the singer says in her own words that she wants to be as synonymous with Halloween as Mariah Carey is with Christmas. On 29 October, according to Hoodline, she hosts her free “Wondaween” party for the second time at a secret location in the Los Angeles area, this year with a creature carnival theme. The first edition at the Santa Monica Pier in 2025 drew around 1,000 guests.
