British shirtmaker Thomas Pink asked a London court on 20 October to stop a US lawsuit brought by Victoria's Secret, legal news service Law360 reported. Victoria's Secret claims that a new women's casualwear and athleticwear line by Thomas Pink infringes its well-known "Pink" trademarks; the lingerie company filed the suit in September, according to World IP Review. Thomas Pink argues, per Law360, that the US case runs afoul of a settlement between the two companies.
According to World IP Review, a decade-old coexistence agreement is now under scrutiny at the High Court. No court decision had been reported initially.
