DIIV release their fifth studio album “ZIRP!” on Fantasy Recordings on Friday. Shortly before, the band issued “Dare Me,” the fourth and final advance single, with a video showing the musicians playing in business attire in an empty office. At the same time, the group announced a 2027 world tour which, according to Exclaim! and Consequence, spans four continents. It opens in February with Laneway Festival appearances in Australia and New Zealand and two shows in Tokyo, followed by North America from April 7.
The European leg begins May 31 in Lille and includes Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Best Kept Secret in the Netherlands. In the German-speaking countries the band plays six times: June 14 at Hamburg's Gruenspan, June 17 at Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin, June 19 at Vienna's Flex, June 20 at Munich's Nachtwerk, June 21 at the Kantine in Cologne and June 22 at the Rote Fabrik in Zurich. No concert is planned in Bulgaria. The tour ends June 30 at London's Troxy.
Tickets for the tour go on sale today at 10am local time via Ticketmaster. The band can be seen in Europe even sooner: in November 2026 it plays, among others, Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris and London and Sonic City Festival in Kortrijk, Belgium.
