Searchlight Pictures has released the full trailer for "Behemoth!", written and directed by Tony Gilroy, the creator of the "Star Wars" series "Andor". Pedro Pascal plays gifted cellist Alex Serian, who returns to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road and works as a session musician on film scores. Each time he plays the opening cue of a different, fictional film, flashbacks reveal why he left and what brought him back.
Pascal is joined by Olivia Wilde, Will Arnett, Eva Victor, Hank Azaria and JoBeth Williams, among others. The score comes from nine composers billed as "The Behemoth! Collective", including Michael Giacchino, James Newton Howard and Alan Silvestri. The film premiered at the New York Film Festival in October.
"Behemoth!" opens in US cinemas on December 4, 2026. In Germany, Walt Disney releases it a day earlier, on December 3, under the title "Behemoth! Stücke eines Lebens"; the running time is 127 minutes.
