Shortly before its 19 November launch, new footage from Grand Theft Auto VI has turned up in an unusual place: in the latest South Park episode, Guinea Pig on a Stick, a restaurant owner switches on a TV showing previously unseen gameplay. It shows protagonist Jason on a beach throwing something at a dog owner and then getting into a fight with him – using a bag of dog waste as a projectile. According to VGC, Rockstar presumably supplied the footage; the studio has not commented.
The release date for the music by French electronic duo Justice is also set: Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice comes out on 11 December on CD, vinyl and streaming services. The album has 30 tracks plus digital bonus tracks; editions include a double CD, a triple vinyl and a limited vinyl edition with clear records. Pre-orders are open, and the track Pusher featuring Gesaffelstein is already available.
Separately, GTA 6: The Album, with 34 songs by various artists including Travis Scott, Keith Richards and Morgan Wallen, will be released on 19 November. GTA 6 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
