FromSoftware delays Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods to 2027
The multiplayer action game from the makers of Elden Ring will no longer launch in 2026. The reason is feedback from the network test in August.

FromSoftware has delayed The Duskbloods to 2027, the studio announced on 29 October via the game's official X account. The multiplayer action game had been slated for 2026 – no specific date was ever given. No more precise date in 2027 has been announced. The Duskbloods is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2.
FromSoftware said development is at the final adjustment stage. The network test in August showed strong interest in combat, strategic depth and player expression, and the studio now needs time for final adjustments to game rules and balancing. It apologised to everyone who has been waiting for the game.
Fans had seen the delay coming, as there was still no date or new details shortly before the end of the year. For Nintendo, it means one of the most prominent Switch 2 exclusives drops out of its 2026 line-up.
