Bows as fastening: Rosalía wears Schiaparelli at the WSJ. Innovator Awards

WSJ. Magazine presented its Innovator Awards on Thursday evening, 29 October, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Singer Rosalía drew the most attention: according to Red Carpet Fashion Awards she wore the "Elsa" jacket from Schiaparelli's Spring 2027 collection, with satin bows, asymmetric cut-outs and beadwork, paired with an ivory satin maxi skirt. The design references a bow sweater Elsa Schiaparelli created in 1927. "The Elsa jacket was the highlight for me, particularly the way the satin bows create the illusion of holding it together," wrote editor Catherine Kallon.

According to theFashionSpot, Irina Shayk wore a white strapless Issey Miyake corset gown from the Fall/Winter 2026 collection – backless and without jewellery, with a low chignon. Lupita Nyong'o chose a black "Farren" silk-velvet maxi dress by Brandon Maxwell, Red Carpet Fashion Awards reported; she was styled by Micaela Erlanger.

Ciara appeared, per theFashionSpot, in a black LaPointe gown with a diamond-shaped cut-out, while her husband Russell Wilson wore a navy satin suit over a black turtleneck.
