Auction house Sotheby's will offer high jewellery at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Geneva on 11 November. The top lot, according to Rapaport, is an unmounted 8.63-carat oval diamond graded Fancy Intense Pink, VS2 clarity and of the rare Type IIa. Sotheby's estimates it at 3.3 to 5 million Swiss francs, or 4 to 6 million dollars, JCK reported.
Other lots, according to Rapaport, include a Graff ring with a 2.88-carat fancy deep blue diamond (2 to 3 million dollars), an 18.03-carat yellow diamond (1 to 2 million dollars) and a Harry Winston ring with a 69.44-carat Ceylon sapphire. JCK also lists a Boucheron peacock-feather necklace from around 1883, once owned by Helena Rubinstein and Jayne Wrightsman.
In the following Royal & Noble Jewels sale, Rapaport reports (as does SEE News), a Cartier bracelet set with the 197.80-carat "Romanov" Ceylon sapphire will be offered, estimated at 1 to 2 million dollars.
