Napoli and Roma drew 3-3 in Serie A on Saturday. André-Frank Zambo Anguissa put Napoli ahead with a bicycle kick in the 28th minute, and Scott McTominay made it 2-0 shortly after halftime from a Matteo Politano assist. Roma leveled through Matías Soulé and Leonardo Balerdi in the 74th. McTominay scored again in the 83rd, but Balerdi headed in a cross from Wesley shortly before the final whistle.

Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri was sent off after the equalizer. Allegri said after the match that the fourth official had called over the referee and that he himself had not said or done anything. “Tonight, for the first time in 25 years, I don't have the necessary clarity,” Allegri said, according to Sky Sport Italia.

“I hope he wasn't angry with me — I wasn't the one who sent him off,” Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini said. Roma had been two points behind Inter Milan and Lazio before the match and missed the chance to go top.
