Eintracht Frankfurt open the Bundesliga's sixth round of matches at home to Cologne on Friday night (1830 GMT). After a 6-0 defeat at RB Leipzig, Frankfurt have just five points from five games, and sit in the bottom third of the table. Coach Adi Hütter called it a "very, very important game, possibly also a defining one."
Hütter wants more bite and resistance from the first minute and invoked what fans call the "069 mentality," a nod to Frankfurt's dialling code. He also backed captain Robin Koch, whom he substituted at halftime in Leipzig: "He will play, and he will remain captain."
Cologne arrive with seven points and momentum from a 2-1 derby win over Borussia Mönchengladbach, but have gone 15 Bundesliga away games without a win. Coach René Wagner is without midfielder Ellyes Skhiri, who is likely out for the rest of the year with an ankle injury, a setback Wagner called a "brutal blow."
