Karim Adeyemi has made a strong start at FC Barcelona. According to ZDFheute, the forward, who moved from Borussia Dortmund to Catalonia in the summer, has been involved in seven goals in 355 minutes, plus two goals in the Champions League. He mostly comes on as a substitute on the left.
“Karim didn't arrive as a megastar but as a player who is supposed to contribute. And he has done that from day one,” Spanish sports journalist Jaume Marcet told ZDF. Former Germany U16 coach Michael Feichtenbeiner stressed: “He needs support and trust.”
Under national coach Jürgen Klopp, Adeyemi started the Nations League games against the Netherlands and Greece – his 12th and 13th caps.
