Lennox Lewis has given his verdict on the all-British heavyweight clash in Cardiff on December 11. “Right now, I would say that Tyson Fury is leading the way,” the former world champion told Rex K-Addo, according to Boxing News. He cited Fury's recent wins over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach.
Lewis does not expect a let-down: “You get a good fight no matter what because there is a lot of ego involved.” According to Boxing News, Lewis is the only Briton to have been a three-time heavyweight world champion.
Fury vs Joshua at the Principality Stadium is for the vacant WBA (Super) heavyweight title and will be shown exclusively on Netflix.
