Bayern Munich made changes for their Champions League match at Viking Stavanger. About an hour before the 9 p.m. CEST kick-off, the club named Jonas Urbig in goal in place of Manuel Neuer, who starts on the bench with a foot problem, with Lennart Karl starting in attack alongside Michael Olise and Luis Díaz.

Coach Vincent Kompany picked a back four of Konrad Laimer, Kim Min-jae, Jonathan Tah and Nathaniel Brown in front of Urbig. Joshua Kimmich and Tom Bischof start in defensive midfield, with Harry Kane up front. Dayot Upamecano and Aleksandar Pavlović start on the bench.

The match in Stavanger is being played on artificial turf. It is Bayern's second game of the league phase; at the weekend they were held to a 2-2 draw at Augsburg in the Bundesliga.
