Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will fight for the WBA 'super' heavyweight title on 11 December at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Promoter Frank Warren confirmed this on Monday to Sky Sports News: "That is the case at the moment. That's going to be on the line." Whoever wins, he said, has "a version of the belt". The WBA's regular champion is Murat Gassiev, who had been expected to be elevated to full champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated.

Warren is also promoting the WBO heavyweight rematch between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley on Saturday. According to Sky Sports, he wants its winner to face the Fury-Joshua winner next year. "These guys are all looking to unify the titles and get involved in massive, massive fights in 2027," Warren said, adding that he expects Usyk to be back next year as well.

WBO champion Dubois is open to it: "If they feed me one of them, I'll fight them," he told Sky Sports, saying he would gladly take on the winner. Netflix is streaming Fury vs Joshua worldwide.
