Kevin Schade injured his shoulder in Brentford's 2-2 (1-1) draw at Aston Villa on Saturday. According to SID, the 24-year-old fell on his left shoulder and had to be substituted seven minutes after the break. Brentford head coach Keith Andrews spoke of a shoulder injury after the game but said he was not yet sure how Schade was. There was no initial diagnosis.
Schade started the first two Nations League games under head coach Jürgen Klopp, the 1-1 draw in the Netherlands and the 0-1 defeat to Greece in Augsburg. Brentford remain unbeaten in the Premier League after six matchdays.
Germany's next internationals are against Serbia in Belgrade on 13 November and against the Netherlands in Berlin on 16 November. Klopp has announced a much smaller squad for those games; the squad has yet to be named.
