Radiohead singer Thom Yorke says the band's reunion tour was enjoyable at first, but that his self-confidence collapsed afterwards. In an interview with the German edition of Rolling Stone, he says his self-confidence crashed badly. Pop star Harry Styles conducted the interview, and according to Musikexpress the quotes come from the magazine's December issue.

The tour comprised 20 arena shows in November and December 2025, the band's first joint tour in seven years. Yorke says the opening show in Madrid was so overwhelming that he wanted to burst into tears before the band had played a single note. According to Musikexpress, he recovered only months later, when he started working on his own album again.

Yorke is now working on a new solo album with producer Sam Petts-Davies. He says he finds it hard to celebrate his past work as a legacy and that he believes in moving forward. He left open whether Radiohead will record together again. The band has announced 21 shows in Australia and Japan for 2027.
