UFC Vegas 122: Allen chokes out Duncan in fifth round, calls out du Plessis
Brendan Allen won the middleweight main event in Las Vegas by submission, forcing Britain's Christian Leroy Duncan to tap in the fifth round and ending his five-fight winning streak.

Brendan Allen won the main event of UFC Vegas 122 in Las Vegas, submitting Christian Leroy Duncan. The American forced the Englishman to tap to a rear-naked choke at 2:46 of the fifth round.
Duncan, who was docked a point for an eye poke in the second round, was headlining a UFC card for the first time after five straight wins. Allen improved to 28-7 and extended his winning streak to four.
After the fight, Allen asked for a title shot or a bout with former champion Dricus du Plessis. "Fight the champion, and if not, where's Dricus du Plessis? He's been running for a little while," Allen said, according to Yahoo Sports. On the main card, Andre Fili knocked out Kai Kamaka III with a head kick in the second round.
