Dakota Ditcheva says she is fully cleared. “I'm good, I'm all clear,” the Englishwoman told Ariel Helwani, as reported by Sherdog on Thursday. Ditcheva broke both hands during her unanimous decision win over Denise Kielholtz in July and had surgery on both of them.
Her recovery was fast: “It was like nine weeks since surgery, which is really quick,” she said of her return to training. Her goal is clear: “I want my belt back.”
The PFL women's flyweight title is currently held by Jena Bishop, who won it in mid-October in Chicago with a decision victory over Liz Carmouche. Ditcheva stopped Bishop by TKO in the first round in August 2024. No date has been set for a rematch.
