The WBC light heavyweight title is vacant – and will be decided on Saturday, November 7, at Manchester's AO Arena. There, Willy Hutchinson (20-2, 14 KOs) and Joshua Buatsi (20-1, 13 KOs) meet for a second time, live on DAZN. In their first fight at Wembley Stadium in September 2024, Buatsi won on points after dropping Hutchinson in rounds six and nine.
Hutchinson is nonetheless convinced. "95 percent of the fight is all in the brain and, to me right now, it's already won," he told The Ring. "I believe I'm better than these men all day long."
In its announcement, the WBC highlighted Hutchinson's route to the fight: among other things, he won the organisation's Silver title by beating Craig Richards in Saudi Arabia.
