Bayern Munich will be without Michael Olise for their Champions League home game against Arsenal on Oct. 21. The France winger was sent off late in the 3-3 draw at Viking after a second yellow card for throwing the ball in the face of Viking captain Zlatko Tripić. "This red card is really stupid," coach Vincent Kompany told Prime Video.
Harry Kane, who scored twice, said: "Michael is totally dejected, but he has to take responsibility. He has to learn from it." Sporting director Max Eberl spoke of "a series of mistakes" and said: "That is not the level of our team." He said he was standing there "again, like after the Augsburg game."
Bayern have drawn their last two games, 2-2 against Augsburg and in Stavanger. They host RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday before facing Arsenal without Olise.
