Fashion house Garhammer from Waldkirchen in Lower Bavaria increased its sales in the 2025 financial year despite an extensive refit. Revenue rose 1.9 percent to 39.1 million euros, according to the annual accounts published in Germany's company register. The company called the increase 'particularly positive' given the construction work that began in the second half of 2025. According to TextilWirtschaft, the store was remodelled over 15 months.
Net profit, however, fell from 1.62 million to 1.38 million euros, a drop of almost 15 percent. Garhammer attributes this to prior-period expenses and temporarily higher ancillary costs from the refit; the result remains 'within a solid range'. TextilWirtschaft links the decline to the start of the major construction project and describes the company's overall economic position as good and stable.
For 2026, management expects 'moderate but stable business development' despite a difficult economy. Sales are forecast to fall by one to three percent, due to restrictions during the refit, which was completed in mid-September, and because a clearance sale had brought in additional revenue the year before. Earnings are likely to be slightly below the previous year.
