Four days after a 6-1 loss at Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig face another tough test: coach Martín Demichelis' team plays Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday at 9 p.m. German time. In the league phase, Leipzig lost 4-1 at Como in their opener before beating PSV Eindhoven 1-0. RB are 21st with 3 points; Real are eighth with 6.

Self-criticism was strong after the defeat in Munich. "We were simply completely outclassed," managing director for sport Marcel Schäfer said, according to bundesliga.com. Midfielder Rocco Reitz wants to put the loss behind the team quickly and show a different attitude in the Champions League.

At José Mourinho's Real Madrid, former Leipzig player Yan Diomande is in line to face his old club. The forward scored in Real's recent 4-1 win over Sevilla.
