Tyson Fury is preparing for his fight with Anthony Joshua in Delray Beach in the US state of Florida. Broadcaster WSVN 7News visited the 38-year-old at his training camp on 19 October. Fury is chasing a third reign as heavyweight world champion.
“I want to make boxing great again, and without ‘Gypsy King’ in boxing, boxing’s rubbish,” Fury said. Of Joshua, he said that “at the end of his career now, he wants a final payday from the ‘Gypsy King,’ so I’ll give it to him.” Cardiff, he added, was his “eighth stadium back-to-back sellout”.
Fury and 37-year-old Joshua meet on 11 December at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, live on Netflix. Tickets sold out in under an hour.
