Bulgaria weather: sunny and up to 23C, then rain and colder air from Friday
Wednesday will be slightly warmer with strong southerly winds. Friday brings significant rain in places, with temperatures falling by 4 to 5 degrees.

Tuesday will be sunny in Bulgaria, with more cloud in the east, where brief showers are possible before noon, broadcaster BNT reported. Lows will range from 5C to 12C, around 1C in the basins of western Bulgaria. Highs will reach 18C to 23C, around 19C in Sofia. The Black Sea coast will see 17C to 19C, the same as the sea temperature.
Conditions in the mountains will be very good for hiking, sunny with a moderate southwesterly wind. Wednesday will stay sunny with a moderate, at times strong southerly wind, and temperatures will rise by another 1 to 2 degrees. On Thursday temperatures will barely change, cloud will increase and there will be rain in the west.
Rain is expected in many areas on Friday, heavy in places. A strengthening northwesterly wind will bring colder air and daytime temperatures will drop by 4 to 5 degrees. On Saturday the cloud will temporarily break and temperatures will rise slightly.
