Antoine Semenyo injured his knee late in City's 3-2 win over Ipswich Town. Coach Enzo Maresca said the club was less worried after tests than first feared, but the forward will be out for about eight weeks and is expected back in December. "When he is back around December it will be like a new player in terms of energy," Maresca said.
Erling Haaland, who scored twice against Ipswich, is also doubtful after taking a knock. "He can be available. We will see," Maresca said. The match against AEK Athens at the Etihad Stadium kicks off at 8 p.m. local time.
