A room built from a personality: AD designs Nara Smith's dream space
In the new episode of "AD Big Picture", Nara Smith answers questions about films and style preferences, and the Architectural Digest team turns them into a room meant to suit her.

Architectural Digest released a new episode of its video series "AD Big Picture" on 15 October. In it, Nara Smith sits down with the editors, who want to find out whether her dream room can be derived from her personality alone. The basis is a set of questions which, according to the video description, ranges from which film best captures the visual style of her life to which design principle she would never compromise on.
The AD team then develops a room from her answers. Smith is also currently promoting her first cookbook, "Homemade", which collects fresh breads, handmade pasta, family dinners and pantry recipes; she presented it at the 92Y cultural centre in New York on 12 October. According to the event listing, she learned to cook with her father and grandmother in Germany.
