Former world champion Richie Woodhall told iFL TV he wants WBO champion Daniel Dubois to face the winner of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua. According to MiddleEasy, he floated Wembley Stadium next summer as a possible setting. Nothing has been agreed.
Heavyweight Dave Allen sees it differently. Speaking to talkSPORT, as reported by Boxing247, he advised both men to avoid Dubois after Cardiff: “He’s too young, too fresh, and too good at the minute.”
Dubois stopped Wardley in the second round in London on Saturday. Fury and Joshua fight at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on 11 December.
