Rush postponed their Saturday night (local time) concert at the SAP Center in San Jose at short notice. “Anika is too ill to perform tonight,” the band said. The show moves to 6 December 2026 and tickets already purchased will be honoured.

According to guitarist Alex Lifeson, German drummer Anika Nilles had early flu symptoms at the 15 October show in San Jose and got worse in the following days. He estimated she would need four or five days to recover.

The “Fifty Something” tour began on 7 June in Los Angeles. It is Rush’s first tour in more than ten years and the first with Nilles alongside Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. Shows in South America and Europe follow in early 2027.
