Arsenal earned an unconvincing 1-0 Premier League win at Nottingham Forest on Sunday. The only goal for Mikel Arteta's side came from substitute Noni Madueke in the 80th minute: he cut in from the left and shot, and the ball deflected off Forest defender Jair Cunha past goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Neither side managed a shot on target in the first half, according to dave.sport. Arsenal struggled to find openings for long spells, and Sels clawed a Bukayo Saka cross off his crossbar. Forest, coached by Oliver Glasner, had chances of their own, including through Liam Delap, but were denied by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. Late on, Declan Rice blocked a Chris Wood counter-attack.

Arsenal moved above Brighton into second place, three points behind leaders Manchester City, who beat Ipswich 3-2 on Saturday. Forest have five points from seven league games and are still waiting for a home league goal this season.
