Kings of Leon released 'KOYSAR' on 16 October, the latest single from their tenth studio album 'O My Beloved'. The title stands for 'Kick Off Your Shoes And Run'. According to mxdwn Music, the calmer, laid-back song draws on the band's childhood memories and their perspective as parents. The album is out on 6 November on Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music; 'KOYSAR' is track seven of 13. It follows the earlier singles 'My Whole World' and 'Cold Blue Dawn'.
The official video shows the band members with their children and families on a day at the fair. Complex calls the visuals a loose, cheerful match for the song. Singer Caleb Followill said: 'I believe if we hold close the things and the people that matter most, everything is going to be alright.'
According to Radio X, the band describes 'O My Beloved' as their most intimate and unguarded record to date. It follows 2024's 'Can We Please Have Fun'. A show at London's O2 Arena is scheduled for 2 July 2027.
