A 74-year-old woman was robbed in her apartment in Berlin's Pankow district, police said. An unknown man allegedly rang her doorbell at around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, claiming to be a parcel courier. When she opened the door, he allegedly forced it open, knocking her to the floor.

According to initial investigations, the man held her down and threatened her while two other men entered the apartment and took jewelry. All three fled. The woman complained of neck pain but did not need medical treatment, police said.

A specialized robbery unit of the police's northern division has taken over the investigation. Police gave no details about the suspects.
