In the third round of the Champions League league phase, Borussia Dortmund face Sabah FK at Baku's Olympic Stadium on Tuesday. Kickoff is at 8:45 p.m. local time (1645 GMT). The clubs' under-19 sides meet earlier, at 3 p.m. local time, in the UEFA Youth League in Masazir near Baku.

Dortmund arrive short of form. A 3-2 opening win over Villarreal was followed by a 1-0 defeat at Bodo/Glimt, and on Saturday they could only draw 0-0 at Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. "Only with goals can you win games," coach Niko Kovac said afterwards, according to the club's website, adding that his team had to play "much more accurately, much more precisely, much more automatically" in the final third.

Sabah, coached by Valdas Dambrauskas, lost 4-0 at Manchester United before beating Slavia Prague 2-0. Dortmund are waiting on Konstantinos Karetsas, 18, who hurt his ankle in Berlin. Managing director Lars Ricken said further tests were needed to determine how serious the injury is; the club has not yet announced a diagnosis.
