Tottenham Hotspur host Coventry City on Monday night (1900 GMT) still looking for their first Premier League win of the season. Spurs have three points from six matches and have scored just three goals, fewer than any other side. Their latest result was a 1-1 draw at Manchester United, and they sit 19th.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi said the issue was results rather than performances. "I think we have to improve in the results, not in the quality of the performances," he told a news conference on Sunday, according to the club's website. Dejan Kulusevski is back in the squad for the first time since May 2025 after a long knee injury. "He suffered too much. He deserves to feel emotion on the pitch," De Zerbi said. Forward Savio will be out for some weeks with a muscle problem, the manager said.
Frank Lampard's Coventry arrive in form after wins over Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United lifted them to six points. "Coventry is a good team," De Zerbi said. In their next game at Chelsea, De Zerbi said defender Pedro Porro could return from a hamstring injury.
