The Yes, Bulgaria co-chair linked the attacks on ships, the Starlink antenna arson and the EMKO case to the same source.

Yes, Bulgaria co-chair Ivaylo Mirchev accused the government of being unwilling to identify the source of threats to national security. In a NOVA TV interview, the Democratic Bulgaria MP said the authorities know the circumstances of the drone attacks on ships in the exclusive economic zone. He criticised the cabinet for not explicitly naming Russia despite the European Council's conclusions.
According to Mirchev, the government also knows who was behind the arson attack on Starlink antennas near Sofia, and the attacks on ships, the antennas and the EMKO case share a common source. These claims have not been confirmed by the authorities. He questioned the Russian ambassador's suggestion that a third country might be responsible.
Mirchev accused President and candidate Iliana Iotova of running a campaign based on "lies and divisions". He noted that Democratic Bulgaria had referred the pardon of Ognyan Atanasov to prosecutors. He also criticised the government for rejecting his party's proposal of EUR 0.20 per litre in fuel compensation.
