Riyadh Season has postponed the Six Kings Slam tennis exhibition from October 21–24 to December 27–30. Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, cited "logistical reasons" on X. According to Boxing Insider it is the first event on the Saudi autumn calendar to move – while the card topped by Christian Mbilli vs Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez for the WBC super middleweight title remains scheduled for October 31.
The postponement follows the missile strikes on Riyadh airport, where operations are suspended through October 17, the report says; officially, organisers cited only organisational and logistical reasons. Reports of a fallback date on November 21 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas have not been confirmed by anyone connected to the promotion, according to Boxing Insider.
Canelo himself did not address the security situation in an interview with The Ring, speaking only about his opponent: "He's a champion and he's a very aggressive fighter." Mbilli and his promoter have not made a public statement, the report says.
