Luke Campbell, the London 2012 Olympic champion, told The Ring about a chance encounter: during Olympic preparations he was sitting with Anthony Joshua in a McDonald's near the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield when Tyson Fury pulled into the drive-through and then came in to join them. The three talked boxing and Fury wished them luck. "It was just a totally random encounter," Campbell said.
Looking ahead to the December 11 fight at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, Campbell said: "Joshua, for me, has had the way better career." But Fury, he added, "is a big lump who is awkward and has a good engine" – which could make the fight uncomfortable for Joshua.
Netflix is streaming the Cardiff bout worldwide.
