Inter Milan host Club Brugge at San Siro on Tuesday at 9 p.m. local time in their first home game of the Champions League league phase. Coach Cristian Chivu played down expectations on the eve of the match. "A dream is not something you are guaranteed to achieve: it has to become a responsibility," he said.
"We'll make a few changes, but Calhanoglu is fine," Chivu said, adding that the midfielder had only taken a small knock. Spence has had just one week of training and 25 minutes on the pitch on Saturday, Chivu said, but is getting fitter.
Chivu was firm on Alessandro Bastoni, saying he would not go back over "the injustice and everything he had to endure," according to FC Inter 1908. The defender "has never had anything to prove to anyone" and is an important asset for Inter and Italian football, Chivu said.
